Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: 2 October 2026
Last Updated: 2 October 2026
Version: 2026-10-02
1. Our aim
We want MandateRoom to be usable by everyone who has a legitimate reason to use a data room, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, magnification or voice control. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
2. Where we are
We have not yet had our interface audited by an independent accessibility specialist, and we do not claim that it conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA. We build the interface from component libraries designed for accessibility, which support keyboard operation and screen-reader labelling, but we have not systematically tested the Service with assistive technology. We do not yet have an accessibility conformance report or a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT), and we will not say that we do until we have one.
3. Known limitations
- Documents are shown as page images. The viewer shows the pages of a document as images, with the viewer's watermark, so that the person who uploaded them keeps control of the material. A screen reader cannot read the text of a document inside the viewer. If you need a document in another form, ask the Room's administrator, who decides what may be shared and in what format.
- Third-party content. Documents are uploaded by Customers and are not tested for accessibility by us.
- Work in progress. There will be places in the Service that do not yet work well with assistive technology.
4. Tell us about a problem
If you cannot use part of the Service, or part of this website, write to hello@mandateroom.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line, say what you were trying to do and what happened, and tell us the assistive technology and browser you use. We aim to reply within five business days, to suggest another way to do what you need, and to fix the problem.
5. Browsers and assistive technology
We test mainly with a current Chromium-based browser, such as Chrome or Edge. Current versions of Firefox and Safari should work but are tested less, and older browsers may not work properly.
