Trial Access Terms

MandateRoom offers a limited, invitation-only 24-hour trial program for qualifying M&A advisory firms and private equity teams. Trial access is granted personally by the founder and is not available through self-registration. If you have received a trial invitation, these terms govern your use of the trial deal room.

Section 1: Who This Applies To

These terms apply only to individuals who have received a direct trial invitation from Aniket Raj, Founder of MandateRoom (hello@mandateroom.com). Trial access is not offered publicly and cannot be requested through this website.

Section 2: Trial Duration

Your trial deal room will be activated for a period of 24 hours from the time of activation, as confirmed by the founder via email. After 24 hours, your deal room will be archived and no further uploads or changes will be permitted. You will retain read-only access to your uploaded documents for a reasonable period following archival.

Section 3: Permitted Use

The trial deal room is provided for product evaluation purposes only. You may upload documents to test the platform's functionality. You must not upload documents that are subject to confidentiality agreements, that contain material non-public information, or that could cause legal liability if accessed by a third party. The trial environment is a production system with real security controls — your uploaded documents will be watermarked, access-logged, and subject to the same technical protections as a paid deal room. However, MandateRoom is not responsible for any consequences arising from the upload of sensitive or confidential materials during a trial.

Section 4: Data Retention and Deletion

If you choose not to continue with a paid subscription after your trial, your deal room and all uploaded documents will be permanently deleted from MandateRoom's infrastructure within 7 days of your trial ending or within 24 hours of your written request to hello@mandateroom.com, whichever comes first. You will receive written confirmation of deletion upon request. MandateRoom does not retain, analyse, or use your uploaded trial documents for any purpose other than providing the trial service. If we do not receive a response regarding continuation within 7 days of trial expiry, your deal room will be permanently deleted and you will receive written notification confirming deletion.

Section 5: No Commitment Required

Participation in the trial does not create any obligation to purchase a subscription. There is no credit card required and no automatic billing. If you wish to continue after the trial, pricing and terms will be communicated directly by the founder.

Section 6: Founder Involvement

Trial deal rooms are set up, activated, and monitored personally by the founder. If you need assistance during your trial — including setting up your folder structure, inviting participants, or understanding any feature — contact hello@mandateroom.com directly. Response time during business hours is typically under two hours.

Section 7: Governing Terms

Your use of MandateRoom during the trial is subject to our Terms of Service (mandateroom.com/terms) and Privacy Policy (mandateroom.com/privacy). These Trial Access Terms supplement those documents for the duration of your trial.
